creative talents put in one, he never had any formal training in
fashion but
had the gift of
creativity
and style. The best word to describe
his outfit is “UNIQUE”.
Ambassador Couture is a sole
name that has succeeded in watering the hungry taste of reputable Nigerian
citizens
and famous celebrities in terms of
fashion and looking unique.
In 2009, he began his journey by opening a mini showroom in the heart of
Rivers State, Port Harcourt and launched his
label AMBASSADOR COUTURE.
He designs a collection of casual and
corporate wears which has attracted huge patronage and clientele across the
Nigerian states.
His label Ambassador Couture is a great success and has placed him on
the international list of couture designers patronized in
the foreign countries. His Boss Mr.
Raymond whom he calls mentor, introduced him to famous and elegant
personalities who
have become loyal clients.
Designing ready to wear
collections and few couture pieces for individuals and companies really increased
Ambassador’s experience and profile.
Also in 2011 Ambassador Couture launched his corporate female wear line
which is modern and celebrated for timelessness.
Some of his well known clients are; Mr Francis Duru, a very famous Nigerian Actor,
Mr. Ovundah Ihunwo, Walter Anger, Bobby
Ogoloma, Mr. Lancelot Okoduwa
(all from the Nollywood arena), Mr Eddie
Watson (Award winning Ghanaian Actor), Mr. Tegga, Mr. Raymond Ukaegbu (Publisher,
Supreme Magazine). The music industry is also in his patronage list as the
likes of
Silas Momen, Waconzy, Dantonio, amongst many
others are clothed by Ambassador.
Ambassador Couture designs are very unique and structured almost
minimalist in appeal, with great attention to cut and detail, quality of
fabric,
modernity with trust of classicism and
perfection, all to meet his clients taste, need and style.
Some of his celebrated designs are his
“n” cut suits, hot short suits with sandals.
He has received a lot of press
coverage and favorable comments from the fashion columnists such as; Supreme
magazine,
City people magazine, Ovation Magazine,
Wedding Jingle magazine, EveAfrique Magazine,
Campus Glits Magazine - Accra Ghana
Ambassador Couture has been invited to exhibit
his work in South Africa (SA Fashion Week), Accra Ghana (Fashion Night out
Ghana),
Lagos (Ade Bakare london, YDCC fashion
show), Port Harcourt (Port fashion Show).
Also Ambassador Couture was invited to
cloth Mr. Prince Eke in the memorable and ever blazing wedding between Muma Gee
(the great musician and motivator) and
Prince Eke (celebrated Nollywood Actor in 2011).
His works has been admired by both
French and English countries.
Ambassador Couture has designed uniforms for a school in England owned
by a first lady here in Nigeria.
Ambassador Couture also designs
costumes for theatre and films, such as designing the clothes for the character
Frank of LUST,
played by the celebrated Ghanaian Actor Eddie
Watson.
I must tell you that today the fashion
world/industry will never be complete without the name Ambassador Couture.
It’s a name that has come to be
associated with 'BEST' in the fashion designing in Nigeria and beyond.
